AC/DC’s *Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap* is a classic from the Bon Scott era and is considered one of the early landmark albums of Australian hard rock. The album was recorded at Albert Studios in Sydney and produced by Harry Vanda and George Young.

This release is the 1987 Australian reissue on Albert Productions / EMI, with catalog number APLP.020. The Australian version includes, among other tracks, “R.I.P. (Rock In Peace)” and “Jailbreak,” and thus differs from the track listing later released internationally.

The 1987 edition can be identified by its red center labels without a border, with the text appearing in the upper half. The back also includes information about production and distribution by EMI (Australia) Ltd., as well as a note indicating that the recording was made in Australia.
